On November 10, 2011, Nangwik Services celebrated both the 236th anniversary of the Marine Corps and the opening of its new office in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. The event took place at Nangwik’s new office on King Street, and was attended by teaming partners and pillars of the local community.
Chenega Corporation held a charity raffle throughout the night in support of the ACTS Emergency Homeless Shelter located in Dumfries, VA. The shelter provides safe haven for familes who are in need of support due to unfortunate circumstances, such as last Fall's disastrous flooding. Chenega Corporation was able to raise $675 through raffle sales to Chenega employees for a chance to win an Apple IPAD.
